Garganta del Diablo, the only way to explore that gorge. It also organizes rappelling,
horseback riding and other tours.
For bike rentals head to El Tornillo ( 0291-15-431-1812; Roca 142; bike rental per hr/day
AR$30/120; 10am-7pm, closed in afternoons during hot weather) , half a block south of the
train station. The river area behind Hotel Alihuen is popular for splashing about.

) About four blocks from the main drag, near the river, is this charmingly old-style
hotel on grassy grounds. It's hardly luxurious, with creaky wood floors and simple fur-
nishings, but there's plenty of atmosphere. An adjacent building has more modern rooms.
