Some restaurants close one or more days per week outside the December-to-March sum-

casual joint, where locals flock to dine on the parrillada for two - good value at

This attractive place on the main drag serves up good homemade pastas and lighter
dishes such as fresh trout accompanied by freshly sauteed vegetables. There are some
purely vegetarian options as well.
La Comarca ARGENTINE $$$

lined side street, this romantic spot features refined dishes such as orange-braised pork
with apple sauce, lamb with mint, chocolate mousse and crepes flambéed in rum.
Orientation
The town is divided into two sections by Río Sauce Grande. The main street, Av San
Martín, lies south of the river, as do the bus and train stops and most other services.
