Easily accessible from Everitt Memorial Hwy, this campground has running water and pit
toilets, but no showers. It's near mile-marker 4, at an elevation of 5000ft. It's no beauty - a
recent root disease killed many of the white fir trees that shaded the sites - but it's con-
venient. Arrive early in the morning to secure a spot (no reservations).

Only antique on the outside, this bright Victorian 1904 farmhouse on the inside is all re-
laxed minimalism, bold colors and graceful decor. Each airy room has a great bed and ex-

Made up of two houses in the center of town: one is a meticulously kept Victorian cottage
stuffed with fussy knickknacks; the other a Spanish-style two-story with chunky, raw-
wood furniture and no clutter. A rose garden with a koi pond joins the two properties. A
hefty breakfast is included.

An excellent deal, the standard rooms are…standard - clean and simple. The suites get a
little chalet flair with vaulted pine ceilings and mountain views. There's an outdoor hot tub
and the Finnish sauna is available by appointment.
