Buckeye Flat Campground

This campground is in the Foothills area, in an open stand of oaks about 6 miles north of
the Ash Mountain entrance. There are 28 tent-only sites and flush toilets. Can be some-
what rowdy.
Stony Creek Lodge

About halfway between Grant Grove Village and Giant Forest, this lodge has a big river-
rock fireplace in its lobby and 12 aging but folksy motel rooms with telephone and flat-
screen TVs.
Sequoia High Sierra Camp

Accessed via a 1-mile hike deep into the Sequoia National Forest, off Generals Hwy, this
off-the-grid, all-inclusive resort is nirvana for active, sociable people who don't think 'lux-
ury camping' is an oxymoron. Canvas cabins are spiffed up by pillow-top mattresses,
down pillows and cozy wool rugs, with shared restrooms and a shower house. Reserva-
tions are required, with a two-night minimum stay.
Wuksachi Lodge

Built in 1999, the Wuksachi Lodge is the park's most upscale lodging and dining option.
But don't get too excited - the wood-paneled atrium lobby has an inviting stone fireplace
