This task involves the final review of the Business Blueprint that involves the following:
1. Review of the Enterprise process area scope document
2. Review of the Business Blueprint
3. Review of the Baseline Scope
The Project Manager, Business Process Owners, and the Steering Committee finally approve the
Business Blueprint.
13.2.2.6 Prepare End-User Training and Documentation Plan
The objective of this task is to prepare End-User Training and Documentation plan based on the
inputs from the Business Blueprint. This also acts as a reference for any future changes in the proj-
ect decisions on the schedule of the user training and documentation effort.
The plan includes
1. End-User Analysis, that is, number of end users and their job functions
2. Type of End-User Documentation and Training material
3. Preparation of End-User Documentation and Training material
4. Resources required
5. Schedule for conducting the training
13.2.2.7 Quality Check Business Blueprint Phase
This is the final verification of the completion of all tasks involved with the project Business
Blueprint Phase.
The SAP-recommended checklist for the Business Blueprint phase is as follows:
1. Validate that the Project Team Status and Steering Committee meeting(s) have occurred.
2. Confirm that successful project team training has been accomplished.
3. Verify that a team building activity has taken place.
4. Ensure user roles and responsibilities are defined.
5. Confirm the development of a technical design.
6. Validate the setup of the development environment and development environment system
landscape.
7. Verify the proper systems administration functions have been set up.
8. Validate the IMG initialization.
9. Validate the completion and sign off the Business Blueprint and Baseline Scope.
The Business Blueprint ensures that everybody has an accurate understanding of the final scope
regarding organizational structure, business processes, and the technical system environment.
13.2.2.8 Sign-Off Business Blueprint Phase
This task is concerned with obtaining the final sign-off from the project management and approval
to proceed to the next phase.
The sign-off on the Business Blueprint Phase signals the end of the second phase of the ASAP
methodology that is also the conceptual design phase of the SAP project.
