In-Depth Information
There are several public toilets and places for refreshment spread throughout the bay, for
example The Seymour Inn.
Anne Port: A small bay just north of Gorey. It faces east and so is recommended up until
early afternoon. It also sheltered from the prevailing southwesterly winds. There are steep
pebbles at the top of the beach but as the tide drops firm sand is exposed. Parking is lim-
ited on the road and one side of the slip but there is a larger car park up the hill towards St
Catherines. Anne Port rarely becomes crowded. There are public toilets but nowhere for
refreshments, Gorey to the south or Archirondel to the north are the closest places to find
food and drink.
Two east coast bays, ideal for an early morning swim at high water. Anne Port seen from
Jeffrey's Leap above and Archirondel, easily recognised with its Jersey Round Tower, be-
low.
