throughout the day. Its breakfast is particularly popular with locals.

In addition to the showrooms in St Ouen there are retail outlets in St Helier, Gorey and at
the airport.
Le Don Hilton or La Caumine a Marie Best is an old guard house on the sea front at St
Ouen's Bay. Built in the 18 th Century it is a very distinctive white colour, although for
2011 it was painted green, which caused a significant amount of local controversy. It is
also available as a unique venue for weddings.
St Ouen's Pond (la Mare au Seigneur) is probably the most important wetland area in the
Channel Islands. There is a range of species but probably the most spectacular are the
Marsh Harriers. The impressive Wetland Centre is opposite the car park at Big Verns and
well worth a visit. There is also a bird hide slightly further to the south, which is accessed
from the small car park, which is just north of the Watersplash, on the opposite side of the
road.
