Devil's Hole is a dramatic physical feature on the north coast. Park close to the pub and
follow the signed path towards Devil's Hole. On the way down there is a statue of the
Devil, which has seen better days. It is quite a steep walk down, which feels even steeper
on the way back up. In the past it used to be possible to climb down into the bottom of
Devil's Hole but the stairs have long since disappeared, the only way to appreciate the scale
of Devil's Hole from below is to paddle through the cave in a sea kayak. Highly recom-
mended.
The real benefit of the walk down to Devil's Hole is the spectacular views of the north
coast, which are revealed as you walk down the path.
Greve de Lecq Barracks are situated in Greve de Lecq and managed by the National
