After Export
Select an item from this menu to either open the selected application or run the
actions contained in a Photoshop droplet or script upon completion of Lightroom's
export. Some example uses of At er Export menu items:

• Running Photoshop actions contained in droplets, such as applying noise
reduction, advanced sharpening routines, etc.;
• Sending photos in email or transferring by ftp;
• Uploading to photo sharing Web sites; or
• Opening the i les in another program.
If the derivative i les are added to the catalog during the export, any changes applied
during post-processing will also be automatically shown on the i les in the catalog.
How to add your own Export Actions
You can add Photoshop droplets, scripts and shortcuts to other sot ware programs to
the At er Export menu. Any item that can be executed by opening a photo (or batch
of photos) can be added as an Export Action.
How to do it: from the popup menu, select “Go to Export Actions Folder Now”.
h is will take you to the Export Actions folder within the Lightroom presets folder
on your computer. (h e Lightroom presets folder contains subfolders for all the
methods for extending Lightroom.) Place your droplets or shortcuts in the Export
Actions folder and they will be added to the At er Export menu. In some cases you'll
need to restart Lightroom to see the new actions listed.
EXPORT PLUG-INS
Lightroom Export Plug-ins are standalone scripts that independent developers
have created for specialized post-processing outside of Lightroom. You can i nd and
download Lightroom plug-ins from the Web. Some examples of popular plug-ins
currently available are:
LR/Mogrify by Timothy Armes: performs a wide range of very useful image
modii cation functions, including highly customizable watermarking and
graphical overlays, borders, resizing and sharpening.
LR/Enfuse by Timothy Armes: a very capable hdr p rocessor for Lightroom.
Web photo sharing plug-ins: for SmugMug, Picasa, Flickr, Zenfolio,
Photoshelter and more by Jef rey Friedl.
