22. In this midst of this, it is relevant to note that one of the other key design
elements of Wii Sports is the fact that, after a game is fi nished, a player needs
to press A to continue past certain screens. One of those screens asks players
to decide whether to play again or quit. By placing the default cursor on play
again, in combination with the relatively short games, I suspect many other
players have had my experience of unintentionally playing another game
when intending to quit.

24. I fi nd this to be a really troubling name for this subcategory of games. It
works better than 'Facebook games,' as some of these games are not found
on Facebook and Facebook games can vary. It is better than casual games,
as many of these games are anything but casual. However, social is trouble-
some, as it presumes a connection among people, which these games do not
often promote. They are certainly games that require you to have others play
with you, but players are more often in a position of requesting/demanding
things from their friends, rather than interacting with them socially.
