Rearranging Slides
After you've recorded a movie, you may decide that a particular set of
slides belongs in a different part of the movie. Or you may want to set
all the animation, transitions, and interactive elements for one section,
then copy and paste those slides for modification in another section.
These sorts of tasks are easy to do in Storyboard view.
Tip:
When you move slides, all the slides will be renumbered so
that the numbering remains sequential—that is, if you cut slide #3,
the old slide #4 becomes the new slide #3 and all subsequent slides
are renumbered. You may want to assign a label to slides you're
moving so that you can keep track of them more easily.
There are several methods you can use to move slides around within
your movie:
Select the slides or slides you want to move, click and hold down
the left mouse button, and drag the slides to a new location in the
Storyboard.
Select the slide or slides and copy them to the clipboard with the
Copy Slide command in the Slide Tasks list, the Copy function in
the Edit menu, or the Ctrl+C key combination.
Cut slides from your movie and copy them to the clipboard with
the Delete Slide command in the Slide Tasks list, the Cut function
in the Edit menu, or the Ctrl+X key combination.
Paste slides from the clipboard to wherever the cursor is by choos-
ing the Paste as Image command in the Slide Tasks list, the Paste
function in the Edit menu, or the Ctrl+V key combination.
