holding down the Control key will be selected. Use this if you want
to select every fifth slide, or only those slides with questions on
them, or some other set of slides that aren't next to each other.
Hold down the Control key and press the A key ( Ctrl+A )to
select all slides. You can also choose Select All Slides from the
Edit menu.

Selected slides display in the Storyboard view with a shaded back-
ground. Any task you choose from the Slide Tasks list on the left of the
Storyboard view will be applied to all of the selected slides. For exam-
ple, in Figure 13-4, you can see that slides numbered 8 through 12
have been selected. The other slides above and below them are not
selected. You could delete them all by choosing Delete Slide from the
Slide Tasks list, or copy them all, or modify the slide properties such
as transitions or timing.
Note: When you have multiple slides selected, some functions will
not be available (such as adding a label). These functions will dis-
play in pale gray and you won't be able to click on them.
