Changing Movie-wide Settings
Some of the Captivate functions apply to the entire movie, not just
individual slides. For example, you can set a background color that dis-
plays if the content of a slide doesn't fill the whole screen, or change
the movie speed or color quality.
Choosing a Background Color
The background of a movie is the portion of the screen not covered by
the content of a slide. For example, if you import an image that does
not fill the entire screen, the background of the slide will show through
around the border of the image. Note that the background color won't
show through on all slides—if your slide content, such as a screen cap-
ture, covers the entire screen, the background won't show.
To set the background for a movie, follow these steps:
1.
From any view, open the Edit menu, and then select Preferences
to display the Preferences window.
2.
Click Project in the Category list to display the project prefer-
ences options.
