Displaying or Hiding the Left Panel Information
The left panel of the Storyboard view contains two elements. The top
of the panel contains a list of common tasks that you can perform on
the selected slides. The bottom shows information about the movie.
You can hide or redisplay either at any time by clicking on the title of
each section (Slide Tasks or Information). For example, if the movie
information is displayed, click on the word Information to hide it. If the
information is already hidden, click on the word Information to
redisplay it.
You can also hide or redisplay the entire panel by clicking the
arrow icon between the the left and right panels. This is a narrow
arrow, in the center of the dividing border between the two elements.
The direction of this arrow will vary depending on whether or not the
panel is currently displayed.

Selecting Slides

the properties for each slide and set the display time for each one. Or
you can select them all in Storyboard view and change the setting just
once.
To select slides, do any of the following:
Click on a slide once to select it.
Tip:
Don't double-click; that will open the slide in Edit view. If you
double-click by accident, simply click the Storyboard tab to return to
Storyboard view.
Click on one slide and hold down the Shift key before clicking
another slide. Both slides you clicked and all of the slides in
between them will be selected. Use this method to select a con-
secutive series of slides.
Click on one slide, and then hold down the Control key before
clicking on another slide. Each additional slide you click while
