Ungrouping Slides
You can take slides out of a group by removing the group element.
Note that this does not remove or delete the slides themselves! To
ungroup slides, follow these steps:
1.
Select a slide group.
2.
Do one of the following:
Click the Remove Slide Group icon at the top of the Branch-
ing view window.
Right-click and choose Slide Group , and then Remove .
From the Slide menu, choose Group , and then Remove .
Hold down Ctrl and Alt, then type the letter P ( Ctrl+Alt+P ).
Hiding and Displaying Slides
In particularly complex layouts, the Branching view window can get
very busy and it can become difficult to identify the slides you want to
see. You can temporarily clear space on the display by hiding slides
either before or after a specified slide.
Hiding or Displaying Slides before a Specified Slide
The Browse Into option collapses all slides before the slide into which
you're browsing. The slides aren't removed from the movie, just tem-
porarily hidden when you work on other slides. To hide or redisplay
slides, follow these steps:
1.
From the Branching view, select a slide.
2.
Click the Browse Into icon (right arrow) in the Branching view
toolbar or right-click and then choose Branch Into . All slides that
precede the selected slide will be hidden.
3.
To redisplay the hidden slides, click the Browse Back icon (left
arrow) or right-click on the first displayed slide and choose
Browse Back .
