Changing Branching Display
If you have a lot of slides in your movie, you probably won't be able to
see them all at once on the branching display. There are several
options for displaying slides in Branching view:
Use the Overview panel to display different areas of the movie.
Zoom in or out to display the slides larger or smaller, to the left or
to the right, or up or down, depending on the size and complexity
of your movie.
Group the slides and then view the groups at the same size as one
individual slide.
“Browse In” to hide all slides before the specified slide.
Overview
The Overview shows a miniaturized representation of the entire
movie, with a square around the slides that are currently displayed. A
quick way to change the display is to click on the square in the Over-
view panel and slide it to a new position in the movie.
Zooming
You can view other parts of your movie using the scroll bars across the
bottom and side of your window, or you can use the zoom buttons on
the menu above the branching display. There are four zoom buttons,
identified by small magnifying glass icons:
Zoom In (+)—Click (or click and hold) this icon to make the dis-
played slides appear larger. The larger your slides, the fewer that
will fit on the current display area.
Zoom Out (-)—Click (or click and hold) this icon to make the dis-
played slides appear smaller. The smaller your slides, the more
that will fit on the current display area.
Zoom Left ( )—Click (or click and hold) this icon to display the
earlier slides in the movie. Note that this particular Zoom icon
does not change the size of the displayed slides.
