In-Depth Information
Figure 11-3. Multiple branches show slide navigation options.
In Figure 11-3, Slide 23 has three buttons that each begin a new path
(starting with slides 25, 27, and 31). Slide 29 shows several possible
navigation paths. There is a button that links to an outside URL (the
square icon under slide 29). There is also an interactive element, that,
if performed correctly, returns the viewer to slide 1, or, if done incor-
rectly, displays slide 34. If neither of these buttons are selected, the
movie continues on to slide number 30.
The left panel of the branching display shows three additional sets
of information:
The Properties area displays the navigation panels for the
selected slide or link. At the page level, this is the same as the
properties that display while editing a slide or element. At the
link level, the Properties area shows the object (button, click
box, etc.) properties.
Overview shows a miniaturized representation of the entire
movie, with a square around the slides that are currently
displayed.
The Legend area displays a reminder of the meanings of the
colors and icons on the Branching view.
