While the rustic ambience of Addison's Bungalows (250/346-6888 or 800/794-5024,

tions, the surrounding scenery has. Originally located opposite the town's hot springs, the
cabins were moved in 2001 to improve habitat for resident bighorn sheep. Today, you'll
find them just south of Brisco, 27 kilometers (17 miles) north of town along Highway 95.
Each of the eight cabins has a small kitchen, bathroom, stone fireplace, deck, TV, and wire-
less Internet.

In the middle of the motel strip is the Alpen Motel (Hwy. 93, 250/347-9823 or 888/

est flowers out front. The air-conditioned rooms are the best along the strip, which is reflec-
ted in the price, which includes passes to the hot springs.
Three kilometers (1.9 miles) south of town, Radium Resort (250/347-9311 or 800/
667-6444, www.radiumresort.com ) is surrounded by an 18-hole golf course and holds a
