the junction of Highway 95. The rooms are nothing special (but air-conditioned) and rent
from $70 s, $78 d, $10 extra for a kitchenette. Also on-site is a barbecue area and pleasant
gazebo.
Up the hill a little and across the road is Apple Tree Inn (Hwy. 93, 250/347-9565 or

door barbecue area.
Continuing toward the national park entrance, there is the Gables Motel (5058 Hwy. 93,
250/347-9866 or 877/387-7007, www.gablesmotel.ca , $79-129 s or d), where each of the
17 smallish rooms has mountain views and is well furnished.
Several older motels lie in the quiet residential streets west of Highways 93/95. One of
these, the Park Inn (4873 Stanley St., 250/347-9582 or 800/858-1155, www.parkinn.bc.ca ,
$85-115 s or d), has rates that remain reasonable even though it undergoes regular revamps.
It features an indoor pool and a covered barbecue area. Some units have kitchenettes and
separate bedrooms.
