ACCOMMODATIONS
One of the finest hotels in Niagara-on-the-Lake is the M Queen's Landing (155 Byron St.,
888/669-5566, www.vintage-hotels.com , $300). Styled as a Georgian mansion, the hotel is
close to all the main attractions in NOTL and just a few steps from the waterfront. Stand-
ard rooms are not overly large, but have nice amenities, including a Keurig coffeemaker
and turndown service with a rose left on the pillow. Queen's Landing is one of three luxury
properties operated by Vintage Hotels in NOTL. The other two, Prince of Wales (6 Picton

Niagara-on-the-Lake is home to more than 150 bed-and-breakfasts. The BranCliff Inn

Located just one block away from Queen Street and the Shaw Festival Theatre, BranCliff
exudes charm and comfort. All six rooms have bathrooms en suite, and five have gas fire-
places. The inn dates back to 1859 and has been tastefully renovated to maintain the histor-
ic sense of the structure, while providing modern comforts such as Wi-Fi and refrigerators

B&B's three suites are decorated in a Victorian theme and include en suite bathrooms. Free
Wi-Fi, a full breakfast, and the use of bicycles are also provided, compliments of the own-
ers, Irene and Ed.
A three-course breakfast served on a spacious veranda is among the treats awaiting

$155). All three guestrooms have en suite baths, comfortable queen-size beds, and warm
color schemes. The largest of the three rooms, the Queenston Suite, has rich redwood fur-
