I don't know if “architecture” is the right term to use when talking about the buildings in
thetown.Mostofthemare“falling-down-historic” andnailingoldstufftothewallsisadé-
cor staple. The houses all had this home-built, added-onto, funky-hippy look to them with
sundecks perched on top of the roofs or windows popped into unlikely places.
We got a kick out of the upside down trees planted as gateposts. These old trees are sunk
into the ground, roots up. So there is this big sprawling, spreading nest-like structure at the
very top. They say eagles like to nest up there.
