It takes too long for Joyce to come down the stairs, so let's trim the start of Scene 17 Slate 29 Take 2.
Select the In point of Scene 17 Slate 29 Take 2, and ripple to the right by 17 frames (see Figure 12.16).
Let's also punch up Joyce's arrival with a reaction from Katie. Position the playhead at 47 seconds and 5
frames in the Timeline and set the Event Browser's Filter pop-up menu to Favorites. Press Shift+2 to select
Video Only as the source media, select Scene 17 Slate 28 Take 3 (favorite), and press Q to connect the clip
to the Primary Storyline. Press Shift+1 to return the source media back to All. Skim to 49 seconds and 10
frames in the Timeline, and press Option+] (right bracket) to remove Katie's off-screen dialogue from the
last clip. The sequence should end just after Joyce says “What are you doing up?”
