The other method is to split just specific properties inside nodes, because you
need them.
3. Insert another Grade node after Grade1.
Look at the Gain property. There's a new button on the right that lets you display
the View menu ( FIGURE 8.43 ).

4. Click the View button to display the View drop-down menu, which allows you to
split off one view to be controlled separately.
5. Choose Split Off Left from the View drow-down menu for the Gain property
( FIGURE 8.44 ) .

You now have a little arrow next to the Gain property.
6. Click the little arrow next to the Gain property ( FIGURE 8.45 ) .

This reveals the two separate View subproperties.
This method lets you manipulate each view separately for this property, and still
have overall control over the rest of the properties as well.
