3. Start the Fillet tool, which is in the Modify panel of the Model tab or
in the marking menu.
When the tool starts, a dialog box and a mini-toolbar will appear.
For the exercise, you will focus on the mini-toolbar.
4. In the mini-toolbar, use the drop-down to change the fillet type to
Full Round Fillet.
5. Click the Right, Top, and Left faces of the part. As soon as you click
the third, the preview of the fillet will appear.
6. Move back toward the mini-toolbar, and it will expand. Click the
Apply button (green plus sign) to add the fillet, and continue select-
ing other options.
7. On the mini-toolbar, change the fillet type to Edge Fillet.
8. Return to the Home view, click the edges shown in Figure 7.17, and
set the radius to 3. Do not click OK or Apply.

lets to apply G2 con-
tinuity for smooth
transitions.
9. In the mini-toolbar, change the type of edge fillet to Add Variable Set,
and click the edge shown in Figure 7.18.
10. Click near the middle of the curved edge to place an additional radius
reference point.
11. Set the radius to 6 and the edge position to .5, as shown in Figure 7.18,
but do not click OK or Apply yet.
The final step, adding a setback, can also be done with the mini-
toolbar, but you will use the dialog box instead.
