Creating a Revolve Feature

For many users, revolving is the second most common thing to create with a
sketched feature after extruding. If you make turned components, it may be
your number-one tool, although I think you'll like the Shaft Generator covered
in Chapter 8, “Advanced Assembly and Engineering Tools.”

Objective

1. Make certain that the 2013 Essentials project file is active, and then
open c03-09.ipt from the Parts\Chapter​3 folder.

2. Click an element of the rectangle in Sketch3, and choose the Create
Revolve icon.

3. Because there are multiple visible sketches with more than one com-
plete profile, you will need to click the shape of the rectangle.
