Connecting to Other Sketch Data
Linking to geometry in other sketches helps keep things in line.

Objective
1. Continue using the drawing from the previous exercise or make
certain that the 2013 Essentials project file is active, and then open
c03-08.ipt from the Parts\Chapter​3 folder.
2. Start a new sketch on the XY plane.
3. Use the Project Geometry tool on the marking menu or in the Draw
panel, and click the top 30 mm line to link it into the current sketch.
4. In the Draw panel, expand the Rectangle tool, and start the Three
Point Rectangle tool.
5. Start the rectangle at the top end of the projected line. Drag to the
right so it is perpendicular to the projected line, and click.
To properly locate this sketch, you should create it so it is below the
end of the 30 mm line. This will make placing the diameter more
difficult, so temporarily create it in a different location.
6. Place the third point above the rest of the sketch at approximately
10 mm, as shown in Figure 3.19.
