Convert tags
to categories
easily.
2. To see the specific posts that belong to a tag, click the num-
ber of posts next to the tag name, under the Posts column
header. An editable list of posts with that tag will appear in
the Edit Posts screen, as shown in Figure 5.6. It's similar to
other Edit Posts lists, but all the posts shown are associated
with the tag you chose by clicking its number of posts.
tip
Any time you click on a tag
name, all the posts with that tag
appear in a list. If you're in your
blog's Administration area at the
time, the list of posts will be
editable, including the tags
associated with each post.
3. Within the Edit Posts list, you can change the tags associated
with a post. Click Edit to review the post, change its tag, or
create a tag, as described in Chapter 4. Click Quick Edit to
change the tags and some other aspects without being able to
review the post or add new tags, as shown in Figure 5.7.
You can change tags and also categories in Quick Edit. However, in Quick Edit, you can't see the
content while you're doing it, which removes a major source of information needed for assigning
tags. You are able to add tags from within Quick Edit. Because you can't review content at the
same time, it's best in most cases to choose Edit instead.
4. To return to the Tags page, click the Back button in your browser, or click Post Tags under the
Posts header in the leftmost column again.
