events are more about adding informational value to your data points and less
about driving your attention to a specific report or metric. A word of caution: As in
any other informational system, too much information results in no information at all.
You can easily add 40 public holidays for your main markets and at the same
time add 40 website-wide changes without poisoning the system. Remember that you
have time working on your behalf, because events like holidays have a definite start
and end time. You can set any event to begin and expire on particular dates, as shown
in Figure 7.7.
