Create a second Cut now, cutting both the triangles seen in Figure 7.74c.
Merge this cut to convert the triangles into three quads.
We now have another pole just down from the thumb; again, this will cause a
pinch in this area if we do not remove it.
Following Figure 7.75 , create a new Cut across the polygons near the pole.
Merge the i rst cut you created (Figure 7.75c).
N e x t , Delete the edge connecting the two triangles.
