9. Click the folder icon under Target File(s) and browse to C:\
InfraWorks Essentials\Chapter 08\ . Enter a filename of
Last Bypass Segment Prelim.imx and click Save.
10. The Export To IMX dialog should now match Figure 8.23 (the X and
Y values for the minimum and maximum extent coordinates do not
have to be exact). Verify that it does and click Export.
Now imagine that some time has passed and the designer has pro-
vided an IMX file that contains a model of the engineered design. You
want to replace the preliminary version of the road currently in the
InfraWorks model with the detailed design provided by the designer.
11. Click the segment of road between the bridge and the intersection
with the existing road. Right-click and select Delete, as shown in
Figure 8.24. If you do not see a Delete command in the shortcut
menu, click Exit Edit Mode and right-click the road segment again.

The segment of road is removed from the model.
12. If the InfraWorks toolbar is not visible, click the InfraWorks Home
icon to open it.
13. On the InfraWorks toolbar, click the Manage icon.
