As you have learned, the Autodesk ® InfraWorks™ software is an incred-
ible tool for building your design ideas and displaying them with stunning
visual quality and realism. If you have access to InfraWorks 360, you will also
be able to share your ideas with others, even if they're not in the same build-
ing or even the same country as you. In this chapter you will study several
ways in which you can share your designs with others and even actively col-
laborate on projects. I'll also discuss how InfraWorks data can be moved to
Autodesk ® AutoCAD ® Civil 3D ® to perform detailed design and then back to
InfraWorks again to perform final visualization.

Collaborating Through Infraworks 360

InfraWorks 360 is an online collaboration account that is created automati-
cally when you create an Autodesk 360 account. If you have purchased
InfraWorks 360, then you are automatically entitled to the model publishing
features of InfraWorks 360. This will enable you to create and administer
InfraWorks Groups (discussed a little later). There are other possible capabili-
ties that you may be entitled to through your InfraWorks 360 account, but
those will not be discussed in this topic. Here I'll focus strictly on publishing
and collaboration.
