In-Depth Information
With all of these tools you can make some interesting and functional tooltips.
Here you also have the Proximity Distance setting, which controls the distance
at which the tooltip appears. You will need to provide a distance here; otherwise,
the tooltip will not display at all.
fIgureĀ 4.2 The Edit Tooltip dialog
editing Points of Interest
The editing capabilities for points of interest are fairly basic. You have the fol-
lowing gizmos available:
Vertex Location and elevation gizmos These gizmos adjust the horizontal
and vertical locations of the point of interest. A point of interest will have only
one vertex.
the Move gizmo The move gizmo has four parts: three axis arrows (x, y, and z)
and a square in the x-y plane. If you click and drag an arrow, you will move the
point of interest along that axis. If you click and drag the square, you will move
the point of interest in the x-y plane only.
the rotate gizmo The rotate gizmo rotates the point of interest around a
point near its center.
