Position the Pen tool cursor over the last anchor point and press and hold the Alt/Option key.
3 Click and drag up to create the directional line for the next arch. Follow the same method that you
used for the original arch, making the directional line slightly higher than the arch.
4 Now click the other side of the arch and click and drag down, forming the arched path as you drag.
Click and drag the other side of the arch to form the path.
If necessary, press and hold the Spacebar to temporarily turn your cursor into the hand tool, and then
click and drag the exercise image over into view.
5 Press and hold the Alt/Option key again; click and drag up to form the directional line for the next
arch, and then click and drag down the other side of the arch.
In the next step, you will try a variation of the method you have been using; this time you will not release
the mouse before pressing and holding the alt/option key.
6 Press and hold the Alt/Option key and drag up to make your directional line for the next arch.
7 Click and drag the other side of the arch to form the arched path, but do not release the mouse.
