Start by clicking in the upper-right corner of the box.
Then click the lower-left corner.
Continue until you reach the upper-left corner.
If you want to undo the last click with the polygonal lasso tool, press the Delete key. If you want to
abort the selection you have started, press the ESC key.
Now is when you will require a little bit more coordination. To select the popcorn, you will use a key
modifier to switch the regular Lasso tool and click and drag to create that part of the selection.

Press and hold the Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) key, and then click and drag around the top
edge of the popcorn to make that selection. Do not worry if it is not perfect; as stated earlier, this les-
son is all about using the techniques, and not about creating a perfect selection. Continue dragging (no
clicking) until you get back to the point where you started the selection of the box, and then release.
