Loading and saving settings
Once you establish a good set of Image Processor settings, you can re-use them. Do this by saving the Image
Processor settings as an XML file. To save your settings, select the Save button and store your settings in
your preferred location. You can share these settings with others, or just use them yourself by selecting Load,
and then navigating to the saved settings.
8 Leave all other settings the same and click Run. The images are processed and sent to the Optimized
folder on your desktop.
Load Files into Photoshop Layers
In this next section, you'll practice one of the most useful automated features in Adobe Bridge: loading
files as Photoshop layers into one image. With this feature, you can select multiple files and open them
all at once as a layered image file.
1 Return to the advps02lessons folder and use the Ctrl/Command key to click and select the
Hawaii_01,JPG , the Hawaii_02.JPG , and the Hawaii_16.JPG file.
Select these three image files.
2 Choose Tools > Photoshop > Load Files into Photoshop Layers; the action starts to run in Photoshop.
Once the action is complete, you'll see an Untitled file appear in Photoshop. If you take a look at the
Layers panel, you'll see that there are three layers, appropriately named with the files names. You will
now complete the composition in a few easy steps.
3 Click and drag the Hawaii_16.psd text layer to the top of the layers stack. Use the Move tool ( ) to re-
position the Hawaii text to the right side of the image area.
