Drag the placed Illustrator artwork to the lower-right corner.
Since you placed this Illustrator artwork, it is automatically converted to a Smart Object. This means
that you can resize it at any time and even continue to edit the artwork in Illustrator. In this next sec-
tion, you'll reposition the SNOWBIRD text to the left of the Travels text so it fits better into the im-
age.

In the Layers panel, double-click the advps09_logo layer thumbnail. A warning appears indicating that
you must save the file in the same location. Click OK. You artwork is then launched in Adobe Illus-
trator.
If you see another warning about the artwork being modified outside Adobe Illustrator, click OK.

Using your Selection tool in Adobe Illustrator, click the SNOWBIRD text and drag it to the left of the
Travel text. Try to align SNOWBIRD as best as you can with the Travel text. The Smart Guides that
are on as default should help you. If the Smart Guides are not active, choose View > Smart Guides.
Note that if Smart Guides is already checked, they are on.
The saved shape is available as a custom shape.
Once you have repositioned the SNOWBIRD text, you will need to expand the Illustrator artboard to
fit the new art.

Double-click the Artboard tool ( ) from the Illustrator tools panel. The Artboard Options dialog box
appears.
