Create a new bookmark
When you find a page you want to return to later, do the following:
1.
Tap the Action button in the toolbar.
2.
In the popover that appears, tap the Add Bookmark button.
3.
Edit the name of the bookmark, if you wish ( Figure 3.10 ).
Figure 3.10
Create a
bookmark.
4.
Tap the button at the bottom of the popover and choose where the
bookmark will be located in the Bookmarks hierarchy.
Typically, there are just two levels to the hierarchy: the Bookmarks
folder itself, and the Bookmarks Bar, a subfolder whose contents
appear as clickable shortcuts beneath the toolbar. However, as
I'll cover shortly, it's possible to import the bookmarks from your
computer.
5.
Tap the Save button to create the bookmark.
I store nearly all of my active bookmarks on the Bookmarks Bar,
organized in Safari on my Mac. For that reason, I choose to make the
Bookmarks Bar always visible in Safari (normally it appears only when you're
typing in the Address or Search field). To do this, go to Settings > Safari and
enable the Always Show Bookmarks Bar option.
