Create and Organize Bookmarks
A Web browser is a great reference tool, not just because there are more
than 1 trillion Web pages on the Internet (Google's estimate in 2008), but
because you can store bookmarks for sites that you want to visit later.
Safari on the iPad can create bookmarks and also use the bookmarks
you've created on your computer.
Open a bookmarked page
Apple includes a few basic bookmarks in Safari, which will give us a sense
of how opening a bookmark works. Tap the Bookmarks button on the
toolbar, and then tap the name of a Web page from the list to load it
( Figure 3.9 ).
