Solution The PSD is estimated using the MATLAB file periodogram.m
The estimated PSDs for A ¼ 1 on a linear and a logarithmic scale are shown in
Figs. 7.34 . and 7.35 . Figures 7.36 and 7.37 show the estimated PSDs for A ¼ 2.
Note the peaks in the PSDs at the frequency of sinusoidal signal.
