In-Depth Information
Change the Patch tool mode to Content-Aware.
4 Using the Patch tool, click and drag to surround the two birds on the left side of the image, as well as
any leftover shadow from the previous position of the eagle.
Click and drag using the Patch tool to make a selection of the two birds and any left-over shadow.
5 With the Patch tool still active, click and drag the selected area over to a section in your image where
you see only the icy water; try to stay away from dragging the patch over a spot that has birds in it, and
then release. Your source selection is instantly replaced with the destination of the Patch tool selection.
If this does not work the first time for you, press Undo and try to select a smaller area to replace.
If you are working on a layered image, you can check Sample All Layers to have the Patch tool re-
cognize all the layers in your image instead of just the active layer.
