Staff and Faculty Support

time and effort to launching the e portfolio initiative.)

E-Portfolio Program Coordinator (this is a proposed position, possibly a
stipend position)
Roles:
Develop and implement a strategic plan involving all departments' campus
wide to communicate the importance and value of e-portfolios in the
academic community and job market.
Work closely with the GENERIC School, the E-portfolio Faculty Con-
sortium, and the GENERIC University Information Technology Depart-
ment to develop a stunning portfolio portal showcasing the e-portfolios of
GENERIC University students across all disciplines.
Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in E-Portfolio Design and
Development in the GENERIC School labs.
Seek out grant and research opportunities in e-portfolio development.
Coordinate with all departments and the Faculty Technology Resource
Center to recruit and train faculty on how to integrate e-portfolio design
and development into their pedagogy and how to teach the dedicated
course in E-Portfolio Design and Development .
Manage e-portfolio activities for the Teaching and Learning Initiative at
GENERIC University.
Work on development of online tutorials demonstrating software tech-
niques and e-portfolio concepts.
Faculty Consortium
(The faculty consortium will act as a steering committee and a workforce for
launching the e portfolio program. Faculty involvement is the key to getting
institutional support.)
Professor XXXXXXXX — Director, Media Arts Department
Role: Provide support, advisement, and technical expertise on
multimedia design and presentation. Eventually, Professor
XXXXX has expressed interest in teaching the E-portfolio
Design and Development course.
