OVERVIEW Turf Club is themed to a turn-of-the-century, upstate New York racetrack club-
house. Wood-paneled walls and dark wood furniture provide a gentlemanly ambiance with
views of Lake Buena Vista Golf Club down below and Downtown Disney in the distance.
It's not the most inviting restaurant, particularly with kids, but it's a great choice for couples
staying at the resort who are looking for a more intimate experience, and riders will find
the displayed horse tack delightful. Kids may enjoy the covered patio seating outside more.
The menu leans toward steak, lamb, and pork. The Spice-rubbed Pork Tenderloin with But-
ternut Squash Risotto and Fried Sage and Grilled Lamb Chops with Honey-Mint Glaze are
best. Start with the Turf Club Signature Grilled Romaine Salad and Buffalo Chicken Dip.
Kids have the usual burger/nugget/pizza/fish/chicken/pasta options. The Saratoga Cocktail
with Maker's Mark Bourbon and Mint Julep with Woodford Reserve are a nice departure
from most cocktail menus heavy on flavored vodkas and light rum.
Dining at Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Artist Point
Back of main building
CUISINE American. HOURS 5:30-9:30pm. DDP 2 credits. DISCOUNTS 20% TiW; 10% AP;
10% DVC; 10% Disney Visa.
PRICES Dinner Appetizers: $10-$15. Entrées: $28-$49. Kids : $7-$14.
OVERVIEW Specialties of the Northwest are served as guests take in the large, open dining
room inspired by national park lodges. Two-story high murals capture the heart and ro-
mance of the American frontier as iron lanterns provide the only light. Be sure to request a
window table overlooking Bay Lake and Silver Creek Falls, or you risk a lousy view of a
walkway or the lobby. The restaurant welcomes kids, but they are unlikely to be transfixed
with the restaurant's subtle charm. The restaurant is best enjoyed as a romantic rendezvous.
Best are the Smokey Portobello Soup appetizer and anything with buffalo strip or venison
loin paired with one of the Northwest wine flights. Don't miss the Artist Point Cobbler for
dessert.
