WHAT TO EXPECT Guests wait at the station for the slow-moving, open-air train that arrives
every eight-or-so minutes. All guests seated on the train sit facing the sights as it slowly
travels through backstage areas where riders have an opportunity to see where the elephants
sleep, among other things. This is the only way to travel to and from Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Asia
Home to perhaps Disney's best roller coaster, in addition to a white water rafting ride,
jungle trek, and the underrated Flights of Wonder, Asia has a lot to offer underneath its
dense vegetation and gorgeously detailed theming. Asia is accessible via Discovery Island,
a path from Africa, or DinoLand. Guests arriving from Africa or Discovery Island will
first happen upon Flights of Wonder, which is located in a nondescript theater on the left.
Continuing on, Yak & Yeti Restaurant and quick service are located on the left. Both serve
very good Pan-Asian fare, though the quick service arm only offers outdoor seating that is
uncomfortable in the summer heat and rain. Just past Yak & Yeti on the left is the walk-
way to Kali River Rapids and Maharajah Jungle Trek. Free lockers are available near Kali
River Rapids to keep belongings dry while enjoying the ride. Continue ahead and Expedi-
tion Everest is unmistakable in the distance. The ride entrance is again on the left. Passing
Everest will take you to The Theater in the Wild, home of Finding Nemo-The Musical , and
then on to the rest of DinoLand.
Shopping is thin through Asia, though you don't want to miss the clever Yak & Yeti-
themed merchandise to the right of the quick service, or all the Expedition Everest-themed
merchandise at the attraction's exit.
