Leave “Enable as an Archive Device” deselected and click Continue.
NOTE
An archive device is a special type of device that is flagged by Final Cut
Server to allow for the archiving of assets. You'll learn more about creating archive
devices in a later lesson.
The Scan Settings page that appears allows you to create a schedule for automatic
cataloging of the device. In this exercise, you will create a scan to catalog new media
files ingested to this device by Final Cut Pro.
