Click the Video Clip icon (filmstrip) on the

asset.

The clip proxy for the asset will be cached and then opened into QuickTime Player.

Quit QuickTime Player and return to the client application.
Double-click the
SR0489 004 Jackpot
asset's thumbnail. In the asset info window,
click the Resources tab.

The low-resolution proxies and metadata stay online and in the catalog.
NOTE
The primary representation of
SR0489 004 Jackpot
is no longer listed;
instead it's stored as the Archive Copy on the Video Archive device.

Back in the asset pane, right-click the
Evergreen Logo (Keyable)
asset (an image file)
and choose Archive to > Image Archive.
This moves the high-resolution image from its original location to the Image Archive
folder you created earlier in the lesson.
Now that you've successfully archived some material, let's take a look at the file system
to see where the files have gone.

Open the Finder and navigate to the FCSvr/Archive directory at the root of your hard
disk. Expand each archive directory and the links under them, and you'll see that dur-
ing the archive process Final Cut Server has maintained the files and the file system
structure as outlined earlier in the chapter.
