Open System Preferences, click the Final Cut Server preference pane, and authenticate
as an administrator.

Click the Devices tab and then click the Add (+) button. In the Device Setup Assistant,
choose Local for Device Type and click Continue.

For Device Name, enter
Video Archive
, and then browse to the FCSvr/Archive/Video
Archive location and click Continue.

Select the “Enable as an Archive Device” option. Click Continue.
This adds the newly created device to the list of devices to which Final Cut Server is
allowed to archive assets.

On the final summary screen, click Done.
