In-Depth Information
12 In the Responses dialog, click the Add (+) at the bottom left and choose Copy from
the pop-up menu.
13 For Name, enter Publish MPEG-4 to FTP ; for Destination Device, choose FTP from
the pop-up. Select the Destination Subfolder checkbox, click Browse, choose MPEG4,
and then click OK.
14 From the “Transcode source to” pop-up, choose MPEG-4. Leave the Metadata Set
pop-up at None.
15 In the Responses dialog, click the Add (+) button at the bottom left, and choose Delete
from the pop-up. Make sure the delete response is under all the copy responses (you
can drag to reorder the items).
NOTE The reason you add a delete response is so that the files do not fill up space
in the watcher directory. If you want to save the original file, you add another copy
response (with No Conversion as the transcode setting) to push the source material
into another internal device of Final Cut Server.
When finished, your watcher setup should look like the following screen shot. Click
Continue when ready, and then click Done.
Next you'll add the other two watchers and their copy responses.
