In all views, you will see an identifying icon that visually denotes the kind of asset you are
viewing. Clicking this icon when viewing a search result in Thumbnails view allows you to
preview visual assets, such as images and video clips.

NOTE
You can preview assets, such as images and some audio and video clips, while
viewing a search result in Thumbnails view. Other kinds of assets, such as Final Cut
Pro project files, PDFs, and other text-based documents cannot be previewed. You
must add them to your cache to use them.
