Select the Painting workspace on the application bar. Brush presets
are located in the center of dock 1 and the Brush panel icon appears
in dock 2. Both of these are obviously important when painting.

Select the Photography workspace. The Histogram panel shows at
a glance how the pixels in a photo are balanced in terms of high-
lights, mid-tones, and shadows. Adjustments are often needed when
retouching (see Chapter 13, “Retouching Photos”). Figure 2.22 shows
the Typography, Painting, and Photography workspaces side by side
for comparison.
