Free transforming
When you free transform layers, paths, and Smart Objects in Photoshop, you
can change their position, orientation, and scale and/or deform them (change
their shapes). In the following steps you will perform some free transformations
on paths to create a logo design.

Setup.psd is

downloads page.
2. Select the Rectangle tool and Shape tool mode, red solid color fill,
and no stroke on the options bar. Hold down the Shift and Opt keys
and drag out a square from the intersection of the guides whose edge
length measures approximately 10% on the rulers.
